Hi,

I’ve been having pain in my groin area and left leg for almost 6 months.

It kept coming and going so I thought maybe it was due to ovulating.
Lately the pain became more persistent and moved to my pelvis and buttocks area also. I have a slight limp due to the pain at this point.

I had an ultrasound on Monday and they found a Complex Ovarian Cyst on the left ovary that takes over most of it. It’s about 2” big.
( The Tech. told me this off the record ). They also found a small one on the right side but she said the Dr. probably won’t mention it because it was so small.

My question is, is it normal for them to wait 8 weeks and do another ultra sound for a Complex Cyst ?

I thought they just did this with other types of cyst . Do Complex Cyst go away on their own like the other types ?

Also, ( 3rd question, sorry ) should I be having this much pain ? I can’t imagine having this pain for two more months.
